Jesse Hedrick

Jesse Hedrick is an Independent College Consultant and the owner of Collegiate Blueprint Consulting. He is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (www.IECAonline.com)*. Jesse received hisformal training in College Consulting through the University of California-Irvine Independent Educational Consultants Program and he is a graduate of The University of Tennessee.

In addition to college consulting, Jesse also owns Testing Solutions. Testing Solutions has been assisting hundreds of students each year in a one on one setting with test preparation since 2010. He also owns The ACT Authority which provides ACT tutoring content to schools nationwide. He has also partnered with school systems and community organizations to assist with college preparation planning for students in need.

Jesse is a Knoxville, TN native and a graduate of Webb School of Knoxville. He is a member of 7 national honor societies. His past work history includes managing a locally owned coffee shop, Warehouse Manager for Joy To The World, Account Servicing at Morgan Stanley and VP of Technology at Cerchen, Inc.

Jesse has dedicated himself to assisting students achieve their collegiate dreams since 2010. His unique ability to engage with both parents and students combined with his credentials and knowledge of the college admissions process ensure that each of his clients receive the best service possible and exceptional outcomes as they navigate the college planning and admission process.

 


 

Laurie Brandow

Laurie Brandow is an Independent College Consultant and founder of Collegiate Blueprint Consulting. She is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (www.IECAonline.com)*. Laurie received her formal training in College Consulting through the University of California-Irvine Independent Educational Consultants Program and she is a graduate of Duke University. Laurie serves as a Mentor with Tennessee Promise, working with students and their families in the Knox County public school system.

In addition to College Planning, Laurie also works with Transfer, Gap Year and Summer Programs clients. She is a source for information on Financial Aid and Merit Aid. She regularly travels to visit colleges and attend professional conferences. She holds “Blueprint for College Planning and Admissions” workshops for parents.

Laurie headed the PAC Parent Education program for three years at the Webb School of Knoxville’s Upper School, and volunteered there for 13 years while her two children attended and then were graduated from Webb. Prior to that, she was an Account Supervisor at DDB Needham Worldwide Advertising in New York City. Laurie also worked at CBS News Nightwatch with Charlie Rose, WNBC Radio with Don Imus, and at Connecticut Public Television. Originally from Connecticut,  Laurie is a graduate of Duke University and attended the University of Copenhagen. She is the President of the Duke University Club of Knoxville and has served as an Alumni Interviewer.

Laurie’s personal commitment and passion, in addition to her formal qualifications, make her uniquely qualified to assist students and their families as they navigate through the college admissions process.

Lynna McCoy

Lynna McCoy is an Independent College Consultant. She is a Professional Member of the IndependentEducational Consultants Association (www.IECAonline.com)*. Lynna received her formal training in College Consulting through the University of California-Irvine Independent Educational Consultants Program and she is a graduate of University of Dayton in Ohio where she earned a Master’s of Education in School Counseling. Lynna also earned a Bachelor’s of Psychology from The Ohio State University.

Lynna has more than 10 years experience working in counseling. Lynna has been working as a school-based counselor since 2016. Lynna thoroughly enjoys working with the students, their families, and the school systems to help the students have the best academic experience they can.

She has experience with helping parents and students navigate educational needs and emotionally taxing situations. Lynna’s background makes her exceptionally suited to assisting with personality profiles, and ensuring that each student finds multiple colleges that are truly a fit for them personally and educationally.
